Former President Trump: I won’t be doing Vegas’ new hotel deal
Former President Donald Trump says he will not be taking a Las Vegas hotel deal after all, but it won’t come as a surprise to anyone who has followed the president.
Trump has not announced his intentions to take a deal with MGM Resorts International and Wynn Resorts, but he did say in an interview with Bloomberg News that he is not planning to take the deal.
“I don’t know,” Trump said.
“My understanding is, you know, they were interested in buying the hotel, but there was nothing I could do.
I don’t have to buy it, but they did, and they were very interested in it.
I have no choice.”
Trump said he was not interested in the deal because it would have hurt his business, which is in the process of restructuring.
The Trump Organization did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
