How to Buy a Real Estate Near You
It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of buying an expensive real estate in an increasingly crowded market.
But there are a few things you need to consider before you go for it.
Here are five important questions you should be asking before buying a property near you.1.
What is the property?
A home, condo, or apartment?
A commercial property?
What are the taxes?
If you’re looking to buy a commercial property, it’s best to check with your real estate agent.
If you’re buying a condo, you may have to pay more than you’d pay for a property that’s less than 10 years old.
If your condo is more than 10-years old, you’ll need to contact the city of your home.2.
What are the amenities?
How big are the rooms?
How much do they cost?
What kind of food are there?
Do they have air conditioning?3.
How many bathrooms are there and how many bathrooms do they have?
If there are more than 5 bathrooms, ask your agent for a map to determine which bathroom is closest to you.
If there are less than 5, ask for a list of bathrooms in your area.4.
What kind of maintenance are there to keep your property safe?
Have the property been assessed?
Are there inspections every year?
Do you need special permits?5.
Do you have a dog?
If so, how many dogs are in the home?
If it’s a condo with more than 3 bedrooms, ask how many bedrooms there are.
If it’s 2 bedrooms or less, ask about the type of pets you’d like to keep.
