Real Estate Crowdfunding: Idaho floridians to get $10,000 for real estate crowdfunding
Idaho is looking to kick off the real estate fundraising season with a $10K donation to a local crowdfunding platform.
On Friday, the Idaho Real Estate Board (IDEOB) announced a partnership with the Idaho State House of Representatives to provide $10 million for local projects, which will be distributed among the Idaho communities that have been impacted by the wildfires.
“Idaho is home to some of the best and most diverse communities in the country, so it’s great to see this kind of support in the form of a donation to our community to help rebuild,” said IDEOB Chairwoman Deborah McAllister.
“This is a critical time for local governments to be rebuilding their communities, as they have been hit hard by the fires,” McAllisters said.
“I think it’s a great example of the kind of collaboration that we need to see across the state to rebuild, rebuild and rebuild.”
The IDEOBs new fundraising initiative is called the Idaho Fire Relief Fund, which is aimed at helping communities recover from the fires and assist in the recovery of their homes and businesses.
The IDECB will be hosting a live webcast on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 5 p.m. that will discuss the partnership with IDEOs community partners and offer information about the fund and how it will help to rebuild communities.
The first 100 donors to sign up to receive a contribution will receive a $1,000 gift card, which can be used to donate to any IDEOA project or business, as well as to help with other local initiatives.
The fund will be available to anyone who has a credit card and can access it.
To receive a donation, sign up for an IDEOIb email list, go to www.idahorealestate.org/recover-your-town and choose “get more information.”
