Real estate prices fall for first time in more than two months
Real estate price declines for the first time since September, while the price of the nation’s biggest city remains in the red, according to the latest data.
The median home price in North Carolina dropped to $330,300, down $2,000 from last week’s record high, the median price of $361,900 was also down to $340,000.
The average home price was up $1,100.
The median income in North Carolinas was $54,000, down from $59,700 last week.
The state had the highest home prices in the country last month, with an average of $534,400 in Raleigh, down 3.8% from the same month last year.
The median income was $61,400, up 3.4% from last year, according a report from the real estate analytics firm RealtyTrac.
The national median home prices have dropped over the past three months, while their average price was down 2.4%.
The national median price in December was $330.7 million.
