Real Estate Prices Surge in New Hampshire after Hurricanes Harvey and Irma

New Hampshire’s average home price increased by almost $2,200 in September, according the association, which added that the median price of a home in the state is $1.3 million.
New Hamphire, the second-most expensive place to buy a home, was second with a median price $1,739, followed by Hampshire with $1-1.4 million.
The average price of homes in Maine was $1 million in September and $1 and $2 million, respectively, according a New Hampshire-based real estate website.
Property values in New York, California and Florida have been climbing, but the US average price for a single-family home is still around $350,000, according Zillow, the home listing website.
“The surge in new homes has been really phenomenal, especially in New Hamphire,” said Tom D’Agostino, a real estate agent and senior vice president of the association.
“I can’t believe how much people are taking advantage of it.”
The average monthly salary for a full-time New Hampherite is $60,000.
