NEW YORK — The price of a New Jersey house on the market dropped to $3,937,600 Thursday, according to the New Jersey Association of Realtors.
The listing is from the Woodland Park, New Jersey, home of longtime Republican Gov.
It is listed for $1.8 million and was sold for $3 million by real estate brokerage LMC Partners LLC.
A buyer could get a similar price if the house were to sell for $4.8 billion.LMC Partners has a long history of selling properties, including Christie’s old home in the same block as his office in Woodland Heights.
Christie and his wife, Mary Pat, sold their home in Woodlands in 2011 for $2.4 million.
Christie and his administration have tried to limit property tax increases to 1 percent, which they claim is necessary to make the state financially stable.
